The objective of this campaign was to create awareness and drive user growth for a lead gen software. I chose to run a YouTube video ad campaign to test the engagement rate of a video ad compared to a display or search ad. My strategy was to create engaging video content targeted to the right audience to boost visibility and generate more leads. To maximize success, I specifically targeted a younger demographic with certain interests that I had researched beforehand.I also optimized the ad for different devices and added a budget of $100 per week. 42.83% watched the video upto 75%
CTR was low because it was an instream ad but it performed above average since the benchmark for a video ad is average view rate: 31.9% Average CPV: $0.30
This was a test to see how a video ad would perform and the metrics indicate that if the creative is engaging , a video ad would perform very well to create awareness and interest.
